Here’s the parody version of this song — “How many roads must a man drive down?”

How many roads must a man drive down, before he admits he is lost?

Why when a man becomes married is he, unable to find his own socks?

How many times will it take till he knows, he’s seen the ‘3 Stooges’ enough?

The answer, my friend, I can not comprehend, the answer I can not comprehend.

How many shows will a man surf through, before the remote burns out?

Why does he think that an intimate gift, is a dust buster plus for the house?

How many sounds can a man’s body make, before he sleeps on the couch?

The answer, my friend, is take two aspirin, the answer is take two aspirin.

Why when we go for a romantic drive, do we wind up at ‘Builder’s Square’ again?

How many nights will he leave the seat up, so I land on cold porcelain?

How men really feel is a mystery to me, and probably a mystery to them.

The answer, girl friend, is driving me to gin, the answer is driving me to gin.

You Are the New Day

May you have a “good” day!

This is one of my favorite songs, and I was delighted to find this arrangement and video.

Enjoy! You Are the New Day

Here are my comments on YouTube to Jeffrey Stivers, one of the vocalists of VoiceBox choral group.

Thank you very so much for posting this here. This is such an inspirational and glorious piece of music, and the performance of the vocalists is absolutely thrilling. (I noticed that you were one of the 8 ensemble choir members, excellent — well done!) I’m just curious, did you do the video here — it is superb! I’ve shared this with my friends, and I thank you for this. Of course, you are probably aware of the other version — in particular the one sung by Cambridge Singers (which unfortunately has been removed from YouTube, possibly for Copyright reasons). Same tune, different words, of a more Christian reference. (Here’s a link to the King Singer’s version at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhDpp4iz2dQ.) Again, thank you ever so much! Words can not fully express my joy in listening and watching this…

Unfortunately, another excellent adaptation, by the Cambridge Singers, with lyrics, has been removed at youtube.com – John Rutter – Born on a New Day – Cambridge Singers

Thankfully, I have recorded it to DVD to enjoy — and hope to find the commercial recording.

I searched @theprof1958 on twitter, and didn’t find much here. Do you have a link or location where I can purchase this music (and video) for high-quality download purposes?

2017 ‘Spring’ Gift DVD playlist

Here is my 2017 ‘Spring’ Gift DVD playlist, that was created from most of the parts from files of my actual DVD for family and friends.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeGNao-oKjRy8RJQhWcbA8xyWasu6nI8S

Because I have a limited amount of time and money to create endless amounts of DVDs (I had created about 13 for this batch), I decided that it would be really cool to post this, with the actual higher quality links to the videos.

P.S. This was a labour of love (please note the Canadian spelling and my preference of the word labour), and this was completed Easter Monday, 2017.

Here’s the Facebook post text that was used, Monday, April 17th

It is with great pleasure and joy, that I share with you my custom YouTube playlist, adapted from my special 2017 ‘Spring’ Gift DVD for friends and family.

<Link to this Googleplus Post address>

If you like cool retro-text displayed from an original Atari computer, inspiration ‘Spring’ type music, and Chess programs (featuring ‘Chess Master 2000’) with cool audio from my precious audio cassette recordings of CBC Radio featuring Disc Drive by Jurgen Gothe.

And more importantly, I am playing a vintage synthesizer, a Roland JX-3P, courtesy of the late Richard Dougherty, with a tune — Fur Elise.

The Playlist is about 1 hours and 5 minutes in length. Additional info is found from link from my Google+ post.
